Jiangmayuan, located in the "Guandao Mountain" mountain system in Lilin Village, Dahu Township, Miaoli County with the altitude from 500-800 meters, is located at the junction of Dahu Township and Sanyi Township in Miaoli County. Miao County Highway 130 connects 2 leisure agricultural areas of Dahu Jiangmayuan and Two Ponds of Sanyi from west to east. It was earlier than the Qing Dynasty, due to the special conditions such as topography, soil quality and climate, plus the ancestors’ hard works and the superior technology and experience in planting ginger, the gingers were widely planted. Both in terms of quality and quantity, they have been praised by the government and the people, and the name of "Jiangmayuan" has gradually been formed, till now which has been the official name shared by the government and the people for a long time.

Tourist Service Center of Jiangmayuan is located at the entrance of the Ancient Road of Exiting Custom of County Highway 130, combining the original characteristic agricultural products with the geographical features with a wide field of vision, it can not only provide sales of local agricultural specialties and farmers’ vegetables and fruits but also watch the magnificent, gorgeous cloud sea.
